Duplex and Super Duplex

Duplex and Super-Duplex steels (austenitic-ferrous) offer great resistance to erosion, pitting, and interstitial corrosion. They are particularly effective for fighting stress corrosion cracking in the presence of chlorides and they have high mechanical resistance. The benefits due to the dual crystalline structure are, however, maintained after welding. This particularly delicate operation is performed by our qualified welders and validated through the appropriate mechanical tests.
