Demands from the nuclear sector are among the most stringent. The final quality is certified above all through dimensional tests on the product and welded joints (visual, liquid penetrants, and X-ray inspections). Documentation regarding the full traceability of the processes and materials used is then delivered. For each individual component, the history of the technological processes applied is documented, starting with its formation in the steel mill. Final testing may be performed in the presence of a third party to further validate that the work and to guarantee absence of construction non-conformities.
